Avantages
I've been working at AMP for over a year and a half now and haven't looked back. I started remotely, and then moved to Chicago, and now work hybrid in our Schaumburg location! When starting at AMP, I was fresh out of college, and wanting to get a ton of hands on experience. I started with our business development team selling virtual tours, and it taught me to be gritty, get some tough skin, hear my first no's from business owners, and really decide how I want to show up for myself for work each day. This process was hard, undoubtedly, but this is sales, and what matters is the team you have behind you and the ability to buckle in when life gets tough. Between those two traits gained, the rest is icing on the cake. Now I am a Senior Account Manager, with a full book of business, working with owners to help them grow their business. It is beyond fulfilling, and I am so proud of the professional I have grown into be by choosing to work at AMP.
Inconvénients
On the topic of sales, you are never guaranteed success, and what matters is the ability to reflect, look for opportunities to grow, and rely on your teammates. The only con is the inconsistencies of sales, which is nothing any one company can control, but you have to choose not to spiral in your own brain, and ask for help, choose to grow and find solutions for yourself.
