Avantages
I had the opportunity to intern with Anchor Glass Container Corporation for 7 months, and it was a great experience. During my time there, I grew substantially in my professional skills and was exposed to many different areas of HR, including employee relations, employee engagement, and employee recognition.
One of the things I appreciated most was the level of autonomy I was given over my projects. My manager was always supportive, offering helpful guidance and strong career advice that I will carry with me moving forward. I always felt valued as a team member, and everyone I worked with was welcoming, supportive, and eager to help me succeed.
This internship is perfect for students, as the team is very flexible with scheduling and understands how to work around class times. The office was also conveniently close to my school, which made balancing work and academics much easier.
I would highly recommend Anchor Glass, especially to students looking for an HR internship. The experience not only gave me practical knowledge and skills but also prepared me for my future career. My manager even took the time to help me refine my resume and navigate the job search process as I prepared to relocate after graduation.
I’m grateful for everything I learned and the connections I made during my time there.
