Diversity - while a great asset but a dual edged sword

For a security software company, I endured a dysfunctional frat-culture with pervasive fake malice spread around by toxic bosses. The requisite moral ethics, conscience and fairness were entirely missing. When told about risks and vulnerabilities, I had to be prepared to get mobbed and retaliated - even yelled, cussed-at and cruelly ostracized. The C level management and project leadership run by middle-easterners who hire cheapest Indian and east-European labor (why no African American minorities??) perpetuate misrepresentations and toxically targeted bullying as their forte. So, after they forced me out on the street, besides attempting to sabotage a career they once again delayed paying my approved time-sheet so far to inflict even more pain. As long as everybody colludes with their circus, they're fine, but any proactive or security related pre-emption leaves one feeling like a third-world slave at a labor camp in Saudi Arabia. These teams collude like band-of-thieves as they falsely exaggerate their products, but once they identify a non-conformist, they frequently sabotage someone's work/livelihood to get that person fired - i saw it happen to one of their own, a contractor who designed excellent UI. The golden boys were abusive and brazenly profane in their own language (Asian, east-European). The CTO actid like a spine-less sociopath who loves playing the rabid chump overfed with malicious and libelous crap by the tech-leads and spends gaslighting his victim to display his power. Any constructive criticism only gets you marginalized. To retaliate and force a resignation, project leads avoided giving references and even dodged mortgage-related refinancing verification to inflict more hardships. Just out of some delusional sense of "military-grade product design" it is an abomination to bring in acclaimed military standards to such decrepit and abominable corporate culture. It is generally an act of decency and ethical conduct for employers to have a responsible code of ethics to at least acknowledge someone whose work has been successfully implemented, no matter how much maligned and abused. Eventually by the time i realized it, but it was too late and it might affect future prospects. Frankly, they' re just not worth the risk of being held hostage against the willful defamation, hostile and deceptive practices towards your work ethics, and the sabotage of your credibility and career. I look forward to the blowback and the glowing reviews in response.

Great medical insurance and that it.

They just laid off more than half the employees as of June 15 2021 with highly paid top-level executives still intact. Looks like they planned for this lay-off at least a month back and pretending all is well, even went on a recruitment spree until a week back. Reason given for laying off was, investors asked them to reduce over and they decided to keep all top management level people but kicked all worker bees. When no one there to work on new development or provide support to existing customers how could they run the company? Never join this company with their sweet talk and screw your career. They don't have any good products to get any future investment or customers. New CEO has no heart or goodwill towards anyone. He is there just to collect his golden parachute and move on. If my assumption is not a wrong company is on verge of shutting its door and whoever there now will be shown the exit shortly. At this point, the company is top-heavy with no one to really work on the application. Future employees, customers, and Investors need to be aware of it!
