      Avantages

      Decent benefits but not the best. Beer Fridays. Some social events were nice. There are some great and professional people. Some nice projects and technologies you'll get a chance to work with.

      Inconvénients

      No RRSP matching. No bonus structure. Salaries on average seem to be below market level. Quite strict money saving measures during the last year, the company is not meeting the targets. Parking is at Market Square and you'll need to walk every day in any weather unless you are a VP. They use parking under the building. Favoritism, especially from CEO. Old product with a lot of technical debt. The focus seems to be on new features and technologies rather than on fixing existing issues. Some of the issues are quite annoying, I don't know how customers can stand them. Multiple rounds of layoffs during the years, people just disappear one day, always because they decided to pursue other opportunities. A lot of changes within the product are not planned well which creates frustration within multiple teams. HR serves the company and CEO. Be careful with them, they are not on your side.

Our compensation as an organization is something we take very seriously at Igloo, and we review it annually, as it aligns to the region and skillsets. We do have roles that are part of a bonus structure and that would be addressed in the recruitment process. As far as RRSP matching and other total rewards, we continually weigh which benefits are considered to be most valuable to our employees so your input is meaningful. We have heard this from all employees. Change is inevitable for a growing company and we appreciate your feedback as we continue to scale.       Avantages

      Appspace has offered a great work-life balance, a willingness to embrace new ideas, and an environment that’s supportive without creating constant performance pressure.

      Inconvénients

      Some of the challenges I’ve experienced at Appspace have been leadership inconsistency due to organizational changes and turnover at the upper-management level. At times, decision-making authority felt limited, which slows progress. There also needs to be more structured coaching and mentorship opportunities from senior high performers to help support continued growth and development.
