Avantages
Great technical minds, great team mates, unique projects (in theory)
Inconvénients
Utterly incompetent upper management surrounded by complicit yes-men. I cannot stress this enough: these people understand less about space, engineering, sustainable design, and basic business than most other people have forgotten. They’re great at congratulating themselves though. Leadership refuses to improve, learn, or just get out of the way. The CEO has made decisions to preserve his own equity that have prevented us from competing in the market, and as a result we are watching other companies land on the moon while we’re struggling to keep our heads afloat. Half-baked ideas come down the pipeline to engineers without the benefit of rigorous technical input, which means we end up building the janky pipe dreams of people whose relevant experience includes watching Dune a few times. The company is in a bad spot. I held off on writing this review for a while because I didn’t want to kick us while we were down…but recent events have put me over the edge. Management has made it very clear they have no intention of changing or taking accountability for the state of the company. The blowback for C-level mistakes will always ALWAYS fall on the worker bees. At any other company the CEO would no longer be running the company but here it’s upside down for some reason.
