Avantages
I'm a foreign manager and started my career at Avatar. They gave me the chance to look into every single section of the music industry, to figure out what I'm best in. We decided together that I was very good in coordinating and organizing, so I started managing artists. Since then, I have worked in three different countries in the music industry, working for labels and managements, with indie and major artists as manager and since then I'm very successful. If you're interested in the music industry, you should start at Avatar, since you don't only get to learn everything about the business, you get to work in an intimate environment and if you're talented and eager enough, you become teachers and mentors, who will help and advice you even if you stopped working for Avatar. I'm still very close to the heads of Avatar and if I need help, an advice or a direction - I just need to send them a short message or contact them on Skype - they are there for me and ALWAYS accessible. Without Avatar, the great knowledge, the opportunities and love they gave me, I wouldn't be where I am now and I'm more than thankful for the chances they gave me. So long story short - if you want to learn, are open minded and want to be successful working in the music industry, you should apply at Avatar. For me it has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. Period!
Inconvénients
If you want to work in a sterile place, maybe a hospital is the right spot for you - Avatar is an office, where people are working and that's what it looks like. I've never worked in a successful office, where there is no dog (helps to evolve your social skills) and where there is no obvious working material (that means, people have too much time cleaning their office, instead of doing what they are supposed to do - and that is helping artists becoming/remaining successful).
