Avantages
The internal marketing and branding is strong — you’ll be impressed before you start. A few coworkers are genuinely kind and hardworking, which makes it a bit more bearable at first. But the good ones always leave.
Inconvénients
This company operates on a foundation of dishonesty. You’re hired as a recruiter, but there are no roles to recruit for — so then you’re told to do 100% business development and get your own clients to make money here . It’s a classic bait-and-switch. When performance inevitably drops due to the complete lack of opportunity, they place people on Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) that are deliberately unachievable. Even worse, you’re given no active roles while on a PIP — meaning you’re set up to fail from day one. Rather than focus on bringing in roles from all the house leads they get for recruiters to work on, their time is spent micromanaging employees and weaponizing HR to find increasingly creative ways to make recruiters’ lives more difficult. They set a toxic tone from the top, regularly sending company-wide emails implying that everyone should work as if they’re already on a PIP. It’s demoralizing, fear-driven leadership disguised as “high standards.” Morale is consistently low, turnover is high, and trust in leadership is non-existent.
