Avantages

Culture here is genuinely fantastic. Leadership's incredibly warm, approachable, and cares about employees. People are at the heart of Bud - my team mates were collaborative, very talented, and made coming to work a pleasure. I grew so much here and will forever be grateful for all the opportunities that I received.

Inconvénients

Fast-paced and dynamic environment, but that's to be expected in this industry!

Avantages

1. Supportive, down-to-earth leadership I feel genuinely lucky to have a great manager (even my workmates have said I scored a good one). Supportive, approachable, and just all-around great to work with. It makes such a difference having someone who has your back, gives clear direction, and trusts you to do your best work. On top of that, the broader management team is equally thoughtful and engaged. I really value the monthly mentorship calls with our GM, and it’s not every day you get casual check-ins from the CEO/Founder. Those small touches go a long way in making you feel seen and supported. 2. Incredible team culture I’ve been following Bud on LinkedIn since 2022, back when they were just starting out. I remember reading their posts about team culture and seeing them win awards for it. For years, I was curious whether that kind of culture was actually real or just good branding. After joining Bud, I realised you can’t fake that stuff. You can’t fake the awards and you definitely can’t fake the reviews from team members. The people here are legit superstars! Not just in the work they do, but also as people you actually enjoy being around outside of work. While I don’t work closely with everyone all the time, I’ve loved the moments when I’ve been able to jump in and support others. The team culture is collaborative, generous, and genuinely kind. Huge kudos to leadership for building a team that just gets it. People who take their work seriously but not themselves too seriously. Also love that we have regular team calls for learning, catchups, and pub quizzes!! I mean? We also do yoga!! 3. Great client relationships The clients I work with are great, collaborative, open-minded, and genuinely trust our team. That makes the work more impactful and enjoyable. There’s a strong sense of partnership rather than just a client-vendor relationship, and that’s something I really appreciate. 4. Culture of trust and inclusion One thing that really stood out to me is how involved everyone is when it comes to pitching and new business. Unlike in my previous agency where only the founders or senior leaders handled pitches, I was genuinely surprised to be tapped to help. It’s refreshing to be part of a team where everyone’s ideas are valued, no matter their title. I’m also constantly impressed by the fact that both our CEO and GM can take time off and when they do, the business doesn’t fall apart. That kind of trust in the team says a lot about the culture here.

Inconvénients

I honestly can’t think of anything major. Like any growing company, there are some natural growing pains. Bud is in that stage of evolving from a small team into a more structured, medium-sized agency, so some processes are still being shaped and fine-tuned. Nothing that gets in the way of the work, but there’s definitely room to streamline a few things as we continue to scale. Also, not really a con… but if I had to wish for something, maybe a second offsite each year? Just putting it out there. Haha!
