Avantages

The resources are endless with a company as large as BFS. As it goes with design, mistakes are bound to happen whether from user or client error. It was never a question on if we would be able to cover those mistakes.

Inconvénients

Base compensation was incredibly low. Taking on the role of both designer and sales rep took away the focus from both roles respectively. I never felt I could put my all into the design work or the sales work therefore falling short of both design and sales expectations. I believe the roles should be separated and base compensation be improved. Over the pandemic and during supply chain issues, meeting a monthly quota in sales was nearly impossible making earned income unpredictable and often lower than was necessary to survive.

Inconvénients

Work-Life Balance: The workload often demands significant after-hours dedication just to meet project deliverables and support technical delivery. Burnout Risk: The rigorous pacing on major initiatives can make it difficult to prioritize personal time and maintain a sustainable, healthy life balance.
