      Avantages

      This program has a lot of opportunities to help share love for STEM with kids. As a director, you can showcase leadership and help students. This is a fun week-long camp. Lots of great communication from people in charge of the program.

      Inconvénients

      As a director, the role requires a lot of time prior to the start of camp. I think the pay for the work leading up to the camp does not reflect the work.

      Avantages

      The kids tend to have a blast and it's rewarding to see them grow throughout the week.

      Inconvénients

      Every year you tend to get a couple kids (and parents) who are determined to make your life miserable. However, if you have an involved director like I did, your experience will usually be very positive.
