Avantages
You will meet some phenomenal and inspirational people in your coworkers. There are people at CBI who can really care to and make an impact in your life. With your coworkers, you'll be able to have some very rewarding relationships.
Additionally, you'll definitely be challenged, and you won't ever be bored.
Inconvénients
I am unsure how much is appropriate or recommended to say in a GlassDoor review. In short, I found my employment at CBI to be challenging, tumultuous, and frustrating.
As an employee, I sought to perform my best on every task every day. While appreciation was shown, I cannot help but questions the leadership styles, the processes, the policies, and the integrity of this organization.
From overworked employees to changing reports/outcomes, my experience at CBI taught me a great deal about grants managements, but unfortunately, I must say that CBI was an example of how not to run a non-profit, develop leadership, and implement faithful and true accounting principles.
For me, this was at the cost of potentially phenomenal direct services to a primarily Navajo population that I don't feel was respected well in the process.
Also, for a practical job seeker, the compensation is often low, and the benefits are definitely lacking.
