Toxic environment - Avis employé Senior Product Scientist Cell Signaling Technology

It was sad to watch the decline of the CST culture over the ten years I was at CST. Unfortunately, hiring and/or promoting managers that do not have the company's best interest in mind and only their own is the reason for the toxic environment at CST. Rampant bulling is encouraged and laughed about by upper management and HR. Micromanagement by middle managers that are too narcissistic to understand what it takes to truly be a good leader. No real advancement unless you are willing to gossip and play the game. Very little to no growth regardless. Anyone with any advice is labeled as not liking change or negative when actually they are trying to prevent re-inventing of the wheel. There is significant wasting of time as everyone is trying to shine by putting others down. When you lose your integrity, it is time to move on.
