Great way to use a social sciences degree right out of school. Great experience for working with children. Extensive training before starting work
Inconvénients
All of the paperwork is by hand... so make sure you have a break during the day to finish it. When I started, I was scheduled for seven direct contact hours without a break, which made it impossible to finish four shift reports accurate (or meet my clients' prescribed hours). After a few phone calls, they were very willing to change my schedule!
