Avantages
CAI is a great place to learn and grow - there are lots of opportunities to work on many different projects if you are proactive. It is filled with a passionate set of employees who are committed to their work, and who are great colleagues. If you are interested in learning about how non-profit organizations work, and what different public health career trajectories might look like, it is a great place to work. I was constantly exposed to new opportunities and experienced tremendous career growth during my time there.
Inconvénients
It can sometimes be challenging to work in a grant-funded environment. Additionally, while there are lots of interesting projects, they can vary significantly depending on the funding agency and issue area.
