Free snacks and treats, but terrible communication - Avis employé Testing Personnel Clinical Reference Laboratory

Avantages

Free fruit every day and free ice cream in the summers.

Inconvénients

Some teams are hard to join. Many people have been there decades so they do not explain things well to new people and communication is unclear. Procedures are purposefully documented poorly so they can't be required to follow them during inspections. This means reference material is unavailable. The rudest supervisor I've ever met worked here and was well thought of.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are glad to hear that your job has provided you and your family the flexibility that you appreciate. We do recognize we are not always able to do the exact things for all our remote staff as we are able to with those who work onsite at the main campus, but we do try to incorporate those that work across the country into our culture as much as possible through different mediums including online versions of games, gift cards, movie tickets, and mailing of company gifts. Inherently, there will be differences and perceived pros & cons for all staff whether they work remotely or are required to work onsite. We are always striving, however, to do better with engaging our remote staff while also remaining transparent. If you have any suggestions about ways we could better integrate our remote teams, please don't hesitate to reach out to your supervisor or Human Resources. Thank you again for taking time to share your thoughts and feelings!
