I appreciate your candour in outlining some of the challenges you see with working at Clockwork Fox as well. First and foremost, I would like to welcome you to speak with me directly about any of these challenges. We strive for openness and transparency in everything that we do. In fact, as you know, we are going through a series of focus groups that involve everyone in the company in developing key company strategies to take advantage of our company’s many opportunities and address some of our challenges right now. This is an opportunity for you to bring forth any issues that you see, and develop a plan to address them as a group.
While we do not have a dedicated HR person, I would like to point out that we do have two HR representatives in the company, and you should feel free to consult with either one of them on any issues you would like to bring forth.
We have identified that the efficiency of our meetings can be improved and have implemented new standards for meetings in the past couple of weeks. I hope that you will see an improvement in those as a result.
I should point out that we do not have any external forces imposing deadlines on us, nor do we make promises on product delivery without internal consultations. Our deadlines are driven almost entirely by the market itself. Indeed, these deadlines are often challenging, but this is the nature of working in an ed-tech startup and, really, working in startup or tech companies in general.
I would like to offer you the opportunity to speak about any and all of the issues you have raised with me personally. If you would prefer to speak with someone else, anyone else on the leads team would be happy to have a discussion with you as well.
