Avantages
- They have some really impressive (confidential) clients - Great product and development practices! - Very smart and kind group of people - HR is very responsive to feedback - Now that we've truly settled into the new space, the office is pretty nice - 9-5 hours (I guess this is only worth pointing out if you're used to 9-6)
Inconvénients
- I think we need to work on being more adept at some of our development practices, such as TDD - While I've never had to work overtime so far personally, I would like to see sustainable work hours be more of a core value at the company. I've noticed that we seem to be kind of "okay" with people working overtime hours to get their work done, or occasionally scheduling meetings outside of 9-5 that you don't TECHNICALLY need to go to, but that you might feel weird not attending. I think if we don't explicitly discourage overtime I could very easily see things getting to a bad place.
