      Great team; Management knows what they are doing; Flexible working hours;

      Inconvénients

      Low salaries; Management sometimes makes comments to belittle people. This includes things related to personal life and is uncomfortable; They do not allow you to work from home, even if you are working alone on your project;

We always aim to provide higher than average salaries for the areas we operate, and Madeira is no exception. We would also like to apologise if you ever felt uncomfortable at Connecting Software. We aim to treat all individuals as part of the Connecting Software family, where we always treat people with respect and have a zero-tolerance policy for not adhering to this standard. We will review our policies and practices internally and further encourage our work force to approach management should they feel uncomfortable or if they wish to discuss pay raises.

      Avantages

      Very good Experience I was welcomed so well, everyone is so nice! I've had a few bad experiences in the past with other internships, and I can safely say that Connecting Software was a true breath of fresh air! There's schedule flexibility; you choose when you get in and when you leave. The new office is very well equipped and in a nice location where it's easy to get to with public transportation, even if you don't live in Funchal. I enjoyed how flexible the people were, as I was able to have more freedom in choosing what I wanted to pursue! Overall, I have enjoyed it so much! Even if it's challenging sometimes, I always feel motivated to do my tasks! It's very nice to see a Company this well adjusted give opportunities to the younger generation, sadly, it's not very common in Portugal.

      Inconvénients

      So far, my experience has been very positive. I just noticed that there's not a lot of flexibility for remote work/ work from home unless you have a good reason, which is completely fair and not an issue for me in the near future
