Avantages

They would reward top performers ever so slightly (favoritism) and create a façade that you are important to the company. It is nice when you're ignorantly sitting at the top. Got wrongfully terminated and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I now work for a job that pays double than the regional managers salaries. I have the same skillset that I had with connectivity source, but the only difference is I work for a better company.

Inconvénients

Let me be real, after draining all of your resources to sell, you are directed to add lines to accounts (even when the customer did not want them or was aware you were doing so) to meet top sales. This was something that I never did (because it is not right and I do have a moral compass) and got fired due to “lack of sales" even though I was consistently within the top 10 salesperson list in the entire company month after month. My termination was later discovered with internal communications, recordings, and text that Upper Management found an “Educational Opportunity” for all the employees to scare them into doing what they are told or they would be terminated, no matter how strong you are as an employee. This termination happened after a discussion I had with upper management of things I would not do, and would not direct my employees to do. They would pressure you to "sneak" the service lines onto the account to meet sales brackets. Example; There’s upper management would also add lines to spouses/friends/strangers accounts without permission and would forge signatures. These people would come into my location (and others) and I would have to deal with the aftermath. High pressure sales environment, telling you to post on your personal social media every day. They would snoop on your social media to make you post current sales they had. They would also make you create fabricated emails write positive reviews online. After a few months you are beating a dead horse. If you didn't post anything on your social media they would write you up or give you a final. This would ruin your personal relationships, and it is a quick way to lose friends. It would be completely your fault that the stores did not meet the revenue they needed for their “Cabo Trip”. They micro manage you to say things line by line making you feel robotic. They have audio cameras in the offices and they constantly watch you on every sale and actually YELL at you if you didn’t repeat the lines by verbatim. This verbatim, was a horrible way to communicate, it was sleazy, cheap, used lemon car salesman lines that did not work. Worked there for 5 years and only made it to $11 an hour as an assistant store manager, or commission, but to hit commission you have to sell unreasonably amount of plans for a cell service that is in last place on the west coast. How is it when you’re number 1 in the company your commission check is only a couple hundred, after you were misled into thinking you would make thousands? Here’s how; They would use the commission word loosely. The true commission you earned was for the company, and they would pay you a percentage ONLY if you met an unrealistic sales bracket AND it was more than your hourly wages. Shady type of business. They would make you work overtime and not pay you for it, and try to brainwash you into keeping it off your timesheet because if you make too much in hourly they wouldn’t pay you your commission. You would be considered as a part time employee so they didn't have to pay for your benefits, and make you work more than full time. The managers would state that either take the part time paycheck or get fired because it’s a "right to work" state and they can fire you for any reason. They take advantage of the youth and uneducated people who don’t know any better and think this is a normal sales business. You can get an idea of how unprofessional this business is just by reading the responses on the reviews. They sell this false sense of security with this “Open door policy” I wrote to the Senior Leadership when I had brief debates with upper management of what it means to commit fraud, and I wouldn’t do shady things. I got terminated two weeks later. :) I wouldn’t recommend this job to anyone. Even if you are strong in sales, you won’t win. Once upon a time, there was a mean king and nasty jester who lived in a kingdom built on sand. They made their slaves hangry because they would never feed them. Eventually all the slaves would learn to fight back and the kingdom would fall apart. The mean king and nasty jester would eventually learn how it feels to be hangry. I look forward to a response.

Avantages

The people are awesome and the T-Mobile service discounts are great. When I started the company was great and it felt like they genuinely care about their employees.

Inconvénients

The execs would rather line their pockets or boost the company bank account. There is way too many ways for them to take commission away from the people that make them money. The nickle and dime everything away if you or your store doesn't meet certain goals, a lot of them are unreasonable. They want the sales people to sometimes border on fraud or outright commit it to meet these goals. Its not about putting the customer first, its about the bottom line and making them money that they can just take away from you for not hitting certain metrics.
