Disconnected leadership and unrealistic expectations - Avis employé SOC Analyst CyberMaxx

CyberMaxx acquired Cybersafe Solutions, a profitable company that was great to work at in the beginning of 2025. Our team was essentially told “you guys are doing great, nothing is going to change”. And then everything changed. The comfortable and friendly culture that CSS shared was crushed by an introduction of corporate middle managers and poorly guided leadership that continually failed to communicate any changes or provide guidance to the SOC or to the company as a whole. They are struggling to retain talent and the workload in the SOC is incredibly unrealistic to maintain for anyone. Promotions and certification reimbursement were put on pause for an unknown amount of time and SOC team members were expected to master and utilize a toolset of an unmanageable size.
