Avantages

there is nothing positive about this work environment. it is abusive, demeaning and uninspiring. women are treated and paid unfairly. the founding partner is an awful employer and human. it is amazing she has retained as many as she has though the turn over rate only increasing

Inconvénients

too many to list. long hours, harsh environment, no hr policies, no formal training, abusive behavior by the partners including throwing printers, cell phones and other gadgets at or in the direction of actual staff or the floor, making the ground shake. the leaders are self important, insecure and seek validation and guidance form their competitors.

Avantages

The pay is good. You might get an opportunity to work on a cool project, but that’s increasingly rare as the studio’s work has worsened in quality over the years. You will learn a lot and fast, which will benefit you at your next job.

Inconvénients

Lack of respect and appreciation from the partners and leadership. Constant pushing of boundaries. Toxic communication with leadership that borders on abusive. Bullying is common. Lack of true mentorship and training. It’s very much a “figure it out” kind of place. Lack of support on certain teams, which sets people up to fail. Lack of any clear trajectory for employees. People can stay stuck in whatever position they were hired into for a long time. Blatant favoritism on behalf of the partners.
