      Avantages

      Your fellow co-workers might be nice and fun. You do get to put something fancy on your resume. But, don't stay too long.

      Inconvénients

      Expect to be viciously exploited for your time, talent and labor. Almost not worth it. Interviews with every other architect ask you how you survived, because every architect in NY knows that this firm doesn't practice ethically regarding treatment of its employees. So, it's kind of embarrassing when others ask you how badly you were damaged as a result of working for them and how you put up with it. #awkwardinterviewquestions

      Avantages

      The pay is good. You might get an opportunity to work on a cool project, but that’s increasingly rare as the studio’s work has worsened in quality over the years. You will learn a lot and fast, which will benefit you at your next job.

      Inconvénients

      Lack of respect and appreciation from the partners and leadership. Constant pushing of boundaries. Toxic communication with leadership that borders on abusive. Bullying is common. Lack of true mentorship and training. It’s very much a “figure it out” kind of place. Lack of support on certain teams, which sets people up to fail. Lack of any clear trajectory for employees. People can stay stuck in whatever position they were hired into for a long time. Blatant favoritism on behalf of the partners.
