      Avantages

      Perfection. Perfection. Perfection. The craft comes first and as an employee you truly get a sense that every detail matters. DS+R hosts an incredibly talented and eclectic group of people that strive to work on impactful projects.

      Inconvénients

      Many of the employees worked very long hours. There was a general understanding that many low-level employees felt burnt-out after a couple years as a result of the work load. There is also an air of pretentiousness that runs thick at times.

      Avantages

      The pay is good. You might get an opportunity to work on a cool project, but that’s increasingly rare as the studio’s work has worsened in quality over the years. You will learn a lot and fast, which will benefit you at your next job.

      Inconvénients

      Lack of respect and appreciation from the partners and leadership. Constant pushing of boundaries. Toxic communication with leadership that borders on abusive. Bullying is common. Lack of true mentorship and training. It’s very much a “figure it out” kind of place. Lack of support on certain teams, which sets people up to fail. Lack of any clear trajectory for employees. People can stay stuck in whatever position they were hired into for a long time. Blatant favoritism on behalf of the partners.
