Avantages
Absolutely none. This tiny, desperate, fledgling PR company has no clout in the industry and is respected by no one.
Inconvénients
Where to begin... I'll start with the most cancerous part of this place. The Managing Director, Kate Ryan. She is awful. She is literally the boss from hell. She is a 45 year old manager stuck in high school. She has a circle of minion employees that she gossips with, and that's when she isn't being absolutely horrible to your face. I have never seen such gross incompetence in a leader. She will literally inspire you to fail. She will make you hate your life and dread coming into work every morning. She will suck the life force from your soul and destroy any shred will you once had to work. I cant remember a single week when I didnt see girls crying in the bathroom. All we talked about was quitting and how much we hated this place. And another thing-I have never seen a company with such swift and drastic turnover. It seems like someone is quitting every other day and being quickly replaced by a new campaign coordinator after a single phone interview. If this post saves even one person from choosing to stain their resume with the permanent black mark that is Diffusion PR, I will be happy. Working at Diffusion is legit like having DeVry University on your resume. It is quite literally a career killer. I've lost job opportunities because of their reputation. If you sent in an application to this smoldering inferno of a company, rescind it if possible and delete your browser history.
