Without documented expectations and success criteria, it’s difficult to prioritise, measure progress, and perform with confidence. - Limited early alignment on stakeholders, responsibilities, and “what good looks like,” which leads to rework and unnecessary stress. - Feedback can arrive too late and may feel subjective when goals were never clearly defined upfront. - New hires can end up self-onboarding and navigating ambiguity alone, which increases the risk of early disengagement.
