Inconvénients
It is reaffirming to me that there are others at this firm that feel the same way as I do. I believe that the recent review titled "Post Iceberg Titanic", though harsh, is truthful. I have often overheard conversations between staff expressing their frustrations with where the company is headed. In the past, I've tried to communicate to the staff that upper management has the best intentions in mind. However, I am starting to lose hope. I left my previous employer with a belief that ERPi has created a unique culture in consulting. But as time went on, it seems that the senior leaders have shifted their focus to the bottom line and not what's best for maintaining the culture it had previously established. It has been a rough year for ERPi. We've missed our financial goals and we've had a hard time securing contracts. I think us managers and senior leaders could have done a better job communicating this to the staff. The message has often times been "we are doing well, exciting opportunities are coming down the pipeline" when it is in fact not the full truth. I hope that moving forward, the corporate office can turn this company around. If not, I'm fairly certain we will experience an even high turnover rate in 2019.
