Avantages
Great place to learn. Management places a lot of trust in its staff which means you get a lot more exposure and senior responsibility compared with other investment houses. The learning curve is super steep. Company has bags full of potential with an energetic young team and a developing culture. The job itself is very intellectually stimulating and one can expect to cover all aspects of the deal lifecycle - from sourcing deals, initial pitch, DD, deal execution and ongoing portfolio support. Very rare to get this experience at Analyst level anywhere else.
Inconvénients
Compensation is lower than one could expect elsewhere. A very lean team and the nature of the job often result in being time poor so you can expect to work outside normal hours - though this is probably an industry-wide issue.
