Avantages
I have been hired for a few productions with Endless Events over the past two years and have really enjoyed working on every event with this group of highly talented professionals. The environment during event production is always positive with the emphasis on getting the job done right the first time, but the team is also very competent solving problems when they arise. I've observed that building relationships with their clients is focused and direct, which allows them retain and build on their client base. Most of all, I have had so much fun working with this team on every event I have been hired on.
Inconvénients
I am not completely comfortable with the way communication is handled within the company, with everything attached to and monitored by the Slack platform. I guess I am just a bit "old school" and more comfortable with the standard linear forms of communication. I do get that it is open source, but it seems to me that only a few individual employees (mostly CEO) dominate the communication threads. That being said, I understand that it is up to each member on Slack to participate at whatever level they feel comfortable. I have noticed that nearly all of the jobs have predominantly the same crew working on all of them, with contract employees hired in the cities where the events take place. So most of those working on events have to live in the city where the job is, to be hired. This limits the amount of opportunities for anyone other than the "core" employees to be hired for events.
