Avantages
Some of the Employees truly care about helping people, but that gets drowned out.
Inconvénients
Horrible Upper Management. Terrible Benefits and Pay for this field. Employees are treated as disposable. Participants are treated as a number, not as people. They put too many unrealistic expectations on the employees to keep the money coming in, and yet after two years the only raise I got was $1, with some employees getting no raise. Upper Management is unapproachable, or they just yes you to death and then ignore anything you said. The toxicity in this place was through the rough. I feel as though I gained 5 years of my life back upon leaving. It's a shame because I love helping people, but if you have that passion, you cannot make a difference here. They will never let you. One of my participants wanted to work in medical, but they kept trying to stick her in McDonalds due to it being an easy placement. If you really need a job in a pinch, make this place an in between job til you find something else. The stress is not worth it. Everything you do could easily be done from home but they refuse to offer remote days, even if you are experiencing a medical emergency.
