6yYes in 2015 we were experiencing tremendous changes. We acquired 2 companies just before 2015 and we were adjusting to new business models and new processes. As we all know change is hard. Sometimes management does need to get involved in the details during times of large transitions. If management does not know what is going on in the trenches then they can not make good decisions. We also rely on each and every employee providing feedback to be sure that decisions are made with the proper information.
We also know that sometimes we make decisions that do not pan out. If any company is not making mistakes then they are not trying hard enough. We will make good decisions and poor decisions at times but we will evaluate the situations and try to make sure we do not make the same poor decision again. We all have to try to learn from our mistakes.
Jobs like developers can be accomplished from different work environments at different times of the day. We embrace this philosophy combined with the ability to set proper expectations and deadlines. Some people prefer to work in the office others prefer to work in other locations we embrace that flexibility as long as deadlines are being met and we have open and timely communication. I think we try to act Like ESI and we know we are not a fortune 500 company. We are small tech company building products and services that are easy and intuitive to use for small to medium sized businesses.
Thank you,
George
