Avantages
Fandom offers a robust benefits package with unlimited PTO, most positions are fully remote, and hours are flexible so long as deadlines are met.
Inconvénients
I'm not sure if this is a quirk of the tech/digital media industries or Fandom specifically, but I never really had a sense of job security while I worked here. Re-organizations of different departments were somewhat frequent and layoffs of different scopes happened yearly. There also wasn't much cohesion between different teams, with departments having unrelated goals or ones counter to the objects of another's. If you can get in here, this is going to be a chill job on a day to day level, but don't count on holding that position for long. Leadership changes their priorities too often, and there's not much of a vision for the company beyond chasing trends for short-term profit. You'll also be underpaid in whatever role you fill and there are virtually now career growth oppertounities.
