Avantages
- Lots of great institutional knowledge (long term employees) - speaks to the foundational culture, opportunities for growth, belief in the product. - Growth mindset comes from the top down. Encouraged to ask questions, take ownership. - Impressive high performers especially in Sales, Prod & Engineering - Customers genuinely love the product. Lots of long term customers, lots of referrals, lots of enthusiasm. Product is beautiful and only getting better. I don't have it at my new company (yet!) and I'm truly lost without it. - Benefits (US focused) have gone through iterations and thoughtful revisions over the years. Things like Distance Days (1x/month) for personal time are fantastic. - Strong performers can find new roles, opportunities within the company if they play it right. - Generally, a transparent culture with one big team feeling - Genuine belief in the mission and opportunity
Inconvénients
- Some prod/market fit issues persist. Still trying to find balance between reacting to and driving the market. Everyone needs solutions for the problems they're trying to solve and nothing is perfect, the financials need to work too, etc etc. - A few of the new people (including team leads) they've brought in are not good culture fits or are changing the culture in a negative way. Hopefully the longer term crowd will prevail. - Stock options are nowhere near generous (or lucrative) for employees at this point
