manipulative and disingenuous - Avis employé Employé (anonyme) Functional Training Service

Supervisory staff is manipulative, disingenuous, and emotionally abusive. Immediate supervisor is/was an alcoholic...came to work reeking of alcohol w/ blood shot eyes daily. Verbal abuse from supervisor staff became the norm. Level of manipulation is unreal...my biggest mistake was taking others at their word...they constantly brought up that "we are a family"...in an attempt to further manipulate...my requests to speak to HR to discuss my concerns were consistently ignored... If you work here, know that one does not have to be good at their job to be considered a good employee, rather one has to be complacent in such a poisonous environment and reconcile in themselves that being treated less than is worth the measly paycheck. Expect to be manipulated and abused in the process as there is a HUGE conflict of interest in HR department.
