Avantages

- Coworkers and teammates are some of the best people around - WFH flexibility

Inconvénients

- Leadership turnover is constant, leaving teams without guidance - In the last few years employee turnover has increased dramatically too, with no apparent motivation for leadership to fill the gaps - Projects are put into motion with little planning, causing them to be stopped entirely or redone endlessly - ERGs are not supported my leadership, with founders and supporters actively being pushed out of GA - Getting paid a competitive salary is an uphill battle

Avantages

General Assembly is a great place to work where you can be proud of the work and impact you have on the org and clients. If you get out of your workaholic mode, you can take advantage of the flexible PTO and the culture of understanding where you are expected to put forth 100% but also take time for yourself and your family. No one abuses that and there is trust in folks getting their work done and supporting one another.

Inconvénients

If you are ok with staying in one role for a long time, this is your spot. I think that due to the pandemic and the economy, there is limited mobility. However, you can try to work or use skills on other teams to diversify your professional portfolio if possible. But raises and bonuses fall short.
