The only pro is that they have lots of customers so you can easily take on as many students as you'd like

More or less everything else. 1. They barely pay us tutors. We only get paid 13 pounds an hour even though they charge student 30 pounds, taking a massive cut from our hard work. 2. You have to BEG to get paid. Every month they underpay tutors and you have to send them proof of every lesson you take to get paid the correct amount. This is so infuriating because I have already done my job as a tutor, I shouldn't have to do the admin side as well. 3. Bonuses are never really paid. They always make up an excuse to not pay any bonuses. They don't reward you for any referrals either (honestly, I wouldn't recommend this site, neither should anyone else). 4. The website is awful. They are trying to move us from Zoom to their own platform and it so glitchy. My students are barely getting the 50 minutes they've paid for because of numerous technical issues. 5. They don't pay enough for no-shows. If a tutor misses a lesson, we are charged 25 pounds. But students are only charged 7.50 . I have so many students cancel lessons last minute so I don't get compensated for the hour I have set aside, and prepared for. 6. Even if a student doesn't show, to be paid the no-show fee (and not be charged for their negligence), you have to wait on the classroom for 45 mins. Even if you know the student won't be attending (eg: if they let you know last-minute). Complete waste of our time. 7. The management is just crap. They literally don't care for the tutors and never take our complaints seriously. Honestly the most awful tutoring site to exist.
