Avantages

the customers are great people and with the high turnover rate at the Goodwill, I always get to meet new employees too.

Inconvénients

High turnover rate. Always firing and folks always quit so they are always hiring. Hard work is never appreciated. Place is always dusty. Don't believe me just moved some of the clothes from the racks and you will see. Management is based on a click not on who rally deserves it. They ask people to round up and the round ups do not even go towards housing and tuition assistance as they advertise that it does. It goes towards the benefits of the full time employees and in someone's back pocket. It's bogus. Staff is only smily and friendly when they are new. The place is full of so much bs that the smile gets wiped off your face in a little bit of time. Bathrooms are disgusting. Breaks are given in order of how much they like the person. Doesn't matter if you started first, and a break is due first, they will make u wait until their favorite goes first. The place is a sweatshop. Period. Non stop movement and again it doesn't matter how good you work or what you are capable of. It will not be appreciated and you will be talked down to. They turned down a competent disabled person for employment although they advertised that they hire mentally challenged. .,. Shame shame shame.....

Avantages

Great impact on the community

Inconvénients

Terrible salary and hourly pay rates. They claim they care about the community, but don't do anything for their own people to make sure they're taken care of and paid fairly.
