      Avantages

      -The problems the firm is funded to solve are interesting. -The remote nature of the work.

      Inconvénients

      One of the project managers stated that he didn't want anyone else at the company working on his project because "the $800k is to keep me funded for the next 2 years". The same person also seemed to be actively trying to sabotage the presentation of a promising solution to increase the detection rate of trojans in FPGAs, which was the problem he was funded to improve. This type of behavior is not good in the long term.

      Avantages

      Every single person at this company is an A player. For anyone who wants to work hard in a University atmosphere, there is always plenty to do.

      Inconvénients

      You should really get a PhD before working at this company. The best assignments are available for the people with the highest education. Being in Ithaca is stifling for younger employees.
