Working at GrantTree is fab. Employees are trusted to work smartly and without oversight. The culture, to which a huge amount of effort is put, is both liberating and supportive without being too over the top. If you're interested in not being managed and working within a progressive environment within fast paced and dynamic team structures then GrantTree is for you. If you require being managed and tightly defined roles look elsewhere!
Inconvénients
The culture and freedom it gives can lead to a chaotic environment where it isn't always clear who 'owns' a particular situation or problem, but we're getting better at addressing this all the time. Due to the niche nature of the work onward career progression isn't clear, but being in tech/finance routes to VC, consultancy or working in a startup are possible.

This issue of ownership has been one of the biggest operational challenges in our open culture journey. 2017 is the year we are getting our hands on this one. Watch this space.
