Avantages
Everyone is very nice, and very straightforward. It’s very rare to come across a job where you can truly say you like everyone you work with. There are several events a year (happy hours, company picnics where family members are invited, fun outings) where everyone can get to know each other, even though we mostly work from home. This job is very flexible, and very family friendly. Your coworkers and managers will move mountains to accommodate you, and I think any poor review probably comes from sour grapes—I’ve never seen someone get let go without multiple efforts by management to make it work. You just have to do your job, and communicate when you’re having a hard time with the task or in your personal life. I like that I have the option to work from home every day, but I can also go into the office whenever I want. I like that I can have a crazy schedule in my personal life, but as long as I fit my 8 hours of work somewhere in my day, it’s totally fine. Everyone I work with wants to see people succeed and grow in their career. I think Halo truly does take quality personally, in both the work they submit to the client and the relationships they form with their “Halo Family.” My work is challenging but interesting and I’m very happy to be part of the team.
Inconvénients
Time management can be very difficult when working from home. It’s easy to over-work, and it’s also easy to get distracted and let time slip away (so you might end up working longer hours than you expected if you’re not diligent).
