Avantages
The company offers a competitive base salary, and does have the potential for great earnings on the commission side. Those who enjoy the chance to work at home will enjoy that most of the business you do is conducted in the field and at home office.
Inconvénients
The sale definitely comes first, with little regards to how the signature on the dotted line is obtianed. Massive pressure to peform or perish, from day one on, and there is VERY HIGH turnover among the sales staff. Almost daily conference calls where those who are 'underperforming' that day are publically called out by the VP of Sales in front of the rest of the sales team, sometimes with inapporpriate language or conversation. The sales training offered is merely a set script binder, with no real training in the field other than infrequent ride alongs with the few tenured reps or managers.
Sales focus changes frequently.
