Avantages
The company is growing fast, and is headed by talented people who are taking the company in a great direction. Everyone is always looking to improve the business and puts their heart into their work which is amazing for morale. Great work-life balance, and the whole company is fully remote, but they do company-sponsored events to meet in person a couple of times a year. Management is very fair and genuinely wants what is best for the employees.
Inconvénients
You have to be willing to wear multiple hats and work long hours. Like any small business, it is rare for you to be stuck in a consistent narrow band of responsibilities, and you will be asked to participate in projects or assist with other job functions regularly. The flip side of that is it's easier to branch out from what you're currently doing if you find something interesting. The cost of health insurance is high, even for small businesses. The company is working on formalizing a lot of processes and procedures as it grows which has been taking some time. Due to the rapid growth, there is no formal career track with defined targets to hit at each step. You have to be a self-starter and willing to advocate for yourself, but advancement is definitely possible.
