High Tech High is well known for its inclusion based setting. All students are welcome and accepted for who they are. High tech high also has amazing projects ideas. They are continuously collaborating as a team to best support our students.

Salaries are not competitive. We are paid a lot less than other San Diego unified schools. Not enough support at times.

* Tactless, unprofessional, manipulative admin on multiple levels * Admin hires incompetent staff and then provides them no support to succeed * Admin treats staff as numbers, not humans * Unprofessional and harmful teachers go without consequence * High staff turnover and poor student retention * Highly qualified candidates are passed up for those who can be easily manipulated to maintain the status quo * Student enrollment numbers drop every year, leading to less funding and teacher layoffs * Poor student performance and outcomes, high behavioral and mental health needs * Admin lack long-term vision and effective leadership skills yet scratch their heads wondering why their school is failing * Hypocritical admin who take excessive days off for personal matters yet hold staff to strict time clock expectations
