Avantages
Even though HigherMe is becoming more established and moving further from the “startup” phase, the environment still feels that way with the constant improvemnts through trial and error, growing teams, passion, sharing of ideas, excitement, etc. I found that any idea I had was heard and I was able to implement many initiatives with help from my managers. I was given feedback regularly which helped me grow into the position. I could immediately tell that my coworkers belived in the mission of the company and that motivated me to be the best I could. I learned a lot from this position and from the HigherMe team.
Inconvénients
I worked remotely which was often lonely. I find I am most productive and creative when around people with the same goals and passions. Although this is the case, there was constant communication online which helped!
