      Avantages

      Réputation de l'organisation, équipements et installations fournis, flexibilité (télétravail), environnement multiculturel

      Inconvénients

      Le manque de personnel/ressources humaines pour atteindre les objectifs engendre une forte pression sur les équipes (risque d'épuisement professionnel et baisse de la satisfaction générale, parfois constatée dans les retours internes). Une culture managériale verticale ne favorise pas toujours la transparence ni le signalement des problèmes. Une bureaucratie excessive qui occulte parfois le bon sens. Un décalage entre le discours de communication interne/les slogans de la direction et la réalité quotidienne des équipes opérationnelles (notamment en ce qui concerne la stabilité perçue des équipes).

      Avantages

      Verisk is a great, stable company that has been very focused on change and creating diversity and inclusion. On the corporate level, they are really trying to develop and retain talent.

      Inconvénients

      My Department management was toxic and hostile. They micromanaged, changed their minds and direction without telling you, made incorrect assumptions and then blamed you when something went wrong and took credit when something went right. They routinely lied to staff about career opportunities and promoted people that didn’t even come close to deserving it. Good staff always left while the bad ones stayed. The harder you work, the more they tried to break your spirit. It sent me into a terrible depression. Senior management is still trying to manage the way they did 30 years ago. It doesn’t work! It wasn’t until I left and went to a place that valued me and my experience, that I realized how undervalued I was.
