Avantages

They are very generous with perks and really care about the culture. They are much more involved with my employees than any other job I've had. Regular surveys are sent out to check on daily operations. It makes it much easier to share questions and concerns. I am able to spend more time with my family because of the benefits. Having excellent insurance helps immensely during uncertain times when your health is critical. Interdesign is a wonderful place to work. They gave me the opportunity to make lifelong friends and have some of the best memories that I can look back on throughout my life. Although there are always downsides, I found joining them to be the best career decision I made.

Inconvénients

High-quality calls and metrics will be required. However, there will also be many customer service issues to address. Customers are often angry due to backorders and delays. The turnover has been high in the last year and some of the most talented people have left. It's not clear yet if they were actually creating a hostile environment. Most managers don't have any sales experience and blindly try to lead key accounts, training, and other areas. It can be difficult to move internally and they seem to be looking for very specific managers.

Avantages

My teammates were wonderful and hardworking. The CEO, Chris Quinn was involved and present and did a great job. Benefits were ok, pay was middle of the line. My ratings are based prior to the CEO leaving the company.

Inconvénients

The owners. Specifically, Bob. Ran the sister company Mdesign to the ground and is now doing the same with iDesign. I really enjoyed my job prior to the CEO leaving. But that immediately changed after Mdesign shuttered their business. Putting their favorites from the sister company into higher positions they had zero experience with and sales plans that made zero sense has crashed the business. For those of my colleagues that are left, I hope they can rebuild and succeed. But layoff after layoff, there aren’t many.
