Avantages
- How structured everything is. I was able to find all the information relevant to my role really easily, through well organised and thoughtful documentation in Drive, Notion etc. This is really surprising for a seed stage start-up - The work is incredibly interesting and Isometric is occupying a really important part of the market, helping to drive up standards in an emerging industry that could prove critical to tackling climate change. This is the most important mission to be working on right now - and you feel that energy in the team. - You work with people who are at the absolute top of their game. This is really deliberate in the hiring process and means you get the pleasure of working with all A-Players. Which also drives you to be at your best too, and you learn a huge amount.
Inconvénients
None so far (can only think of cheesy things like "it's going to be really hard to go work somewhere else that isn't like this..."). I've only joined recently but it's definitely been my best first few weeks of any company (I've worked in a mix of start-ups and traditional orgs).
