Avantages
They allow fully remote work.
Inconvénients
Giving them a 1-star is too kind. There needs to be a zero rating. This is by far the worst organisation I have been employed by during my 25-year career. My immediate manager was a hapless victim of the company's incompetence. Overworked and stationed in a time zone that rendered effective communication impossible, they had neither the capacity nor the inclination to comprehend, let alone cater to, the market of New Zealand. They are hell-bent on replacing humans with robots - current journalists within the company have told me of the grim news that their jobs are on the chopping block, slated to be replaced by the cold 'efficiency' of ChatGPT. This action is reminiscent of the truly awful HR dept - I can't speak for the whole department but the person I dealt with had a lack of empathy that bordered on the sociopathic, if not outright psychopathic - the company's unwavering defender, blind to the policy flaws even when they're glaringly obvious. Despite boasting an HR-related website within their repertoire, their grasp on managing a remote workforce is laughably dismal. It's a cruel irony that an organisation supposedly in tune with human resources struggles so profoundly with remote engagement and support. Not recommended by me as a great place to work.
