We are sorry you feel this way but appreciate you taking the time to write down your thoughts. Some employees value equity over cash whilst others it is the complete opposite. We have taken your remarks seriously and had and have been working on a full compensation study for some time - to better match the market where appropriate and we can afford to do so. But a great deal of time for startups it is difficult to compete with massively overfunded startups or much larger companies. That said, point taken. One thing we need to work on (of a very long list) is workload balance amongst the team - in some cases we've had a good portion of the team working crazy hours, with never ending dedication, and doing what it takes - while others on the team were coasting with missed deadlines, not showing up for work, disregarding feedback, ignoring requests, etc. We are going to do better on singling poor performance out and terminating those individuals much sooner in the process - and avoid leaving a bad impression on the rest of the team. If you only knew how many countless sleepless nights the management has put in - because we genuinely cared and care about the team. We are hopeful that the incoming middle management team we are putting in place will help resolve this important item. All my career I have had this fault - waiting too long to terminate employees that needed to be terminated. Promising myself to work on that more - and to listen to my management team when it comes to this issue.
