However, even though the contract says, "per minute", if your interpretation lasts 59 seconds and not the whole minute, then you don't get paid for the partial minute. You get $0. But the customer is charged for the minute. Every over-the-phone agency I have worked for as a contract interpreter paid the partial minute. BUT NOT LSA! Contract Interpreter BEWARE!
