Avantages

Liquid Planner feels like a non-profit! Very little urgency or accountability. This might be a con for some but it suits my lifestyle. Women like me definitely have the upper hand here. Not a great company for men but they have every other company. We have an incredibly cool board that correctly prioritizes doing the "right" work over results.

Inconvénients

Our CEO has gotten somewhat erratic over the last 6 months and we have lost about 3/4 of our Executive Team (doesn't seem like we are back-filling them). I get along with the CEO by complimenting her on things. The Sales team is consistently weak and can't succeed in selling our one of a kind product (it's been quite a while since we achieved our goals. ). We are on our 4th or 5th sales director in the last 3 years and seems like we might be headed for another change.

Avantages

The people at LiquidPlanner are some of the brightest, most hard working people I've ever met. Everyone is friendly, personable, and truly cares about your well-being and career development. You know you've found a company with great culture when people regularly stay and grow with the organization for 3+ years! Not only is the culture top notch, but the work is exciting. The current leadership team is moving the company in a great direction. We are being encouraged to ask questions, experiment with new projects, and really push ourselves. Our new CEO is a big fan of us trying new things, even if they don't work out. Knowing that you aren't going to be punished for taking a risk, but rather you will be supported and encouraged, is a great feeling. With a renewed focus on strategy and cross-team collaboration, I'm expecting this year will be one of big growth for LiquidPlanner.

Inconvénients

Teams are still a bit siloed and project execution moves a little slower than I would like at times. Compared to past companies I've worked for, the cons are very few and far between!
